Wyandot BHN is not a legal services provider. We connect adults with severe mental illness who are involved with the justice system with mental health treatment, substance use services, and other community support. This may include assistance with disability benefits, housing rights, or navigating the legal system when mental health is a factor. If legal challenges are impacting your care or stability, your case manager or care coordinator can help you access the appropriate support

Justice-Involved Services
Mental Health Support in the Justice System
At Wyandot Behavioral Health Network, we believe that mental illness should never be a reason for incarceration.
Our justice-involved services work to decriminalize mental illness and reduce recidivism by offering community-based care, advocacy, and coordinated support. We collaborate with courts, correctional facilities, and law enforcement to help individuals access treatment instead of jail.

Navigating the Justice System With Care
We help individuals facing legal challenges find stability through mental health support, court advocacy, and community-based care that puts them first.

"I had an extreme case of PTSD when I came here. I worked with a psychiatrist, a therapist and a case manager every week. I was too afraid to leave my home, lost all of my friends and completely shut down.... After a few years of working with this team, I found myself accomplishing more and more every day.
