Parent Support Services
Parenting can be challenging, especially when raising a child with mental health or behavioral needs. Our parent support programs provide guidance, practical strategies, and a compassionate space to share experiences. From managing daily routines to navigating school or therapy needs, we help parents build confidence, strengthen family communication, and feel empowered in their role. These services are for parents with children receiving support from PACES.
Peer Support Services
Peer support connects you with others who have shared experiences, offering understanding, encouragement, and practical advice. Whether navigating mental health challenges, recovery journeys, or life transitions, our peer support programs provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment to learn, grow, and build lasting relationships. Sharing with peers fosters resilience, reduces isolation, and helps participants feel heard and supported.

Bethany
"I had an extreme case of PTSD when I came here. I worked with a psychiatrist, a therapist and a case manager every week. I was too afraid to leave my home, lost all of my friends and completely shut down.... After a few years of working with this team, I found myself accomplishing more and more every day.

Peer support is open to anyone looking for guidance, encouragement, or connection. There are no formal eligibility requirements—just a willingness to share and grow. Whether you’re just beginning to explore support or have been on this path for a while, you’re welcome here.
We offer a variety of hands-on and compassionate parent resources and support services. These include skill-building for effective parenting, limit-setting techniques, managing emotional outbursts and challenging behaviors, conflict resolution strategies, and emotional regulation for both parents and children. We also help parents better understand and support children living with behavioral health or developmental challenges.
For parents of a child already engaged in PACES services, you can speak to their care team about accessing parent support services. For adults seeking peer support, please speak with your therapist or case manager about connecting with the peer support team.
