We typically recommend group therapy for those whose needs would be best served in a group atmosphere. Learning new communication skills, adjusting to life changes like going to college, or overcoming shyness are all instances where certain skills are best practiced with other people present. Group therapy connects people who are often working on similar skills and provides support for all involved.
