Starting your mental health journey with Wyandot BHN begins with a simple intake process. Once you reach out—by phone, online, or walking in—our team will guide you through an initial screening to better understand your current situation and needs. We’ll then schedule an appointment with one of our licensed clinicians. This first visit is a safe, welcoming space where we take the time to learn about you, your concerns, and your goals. Together, we’ll determine the best approach to care and develop a personalized plan to support your well-being.
Wyandot BHN offers a wide range of behavioral health services for children, teens, and adults.
These include:
- Individual Therapy
- Group Counseling
- Family Therapy
- Case Management
- Medication Management
- Substance Use Treatment
- Early Psychosis Intervention
- Peer Support
- Case Management
- And more
We also offer support with housing, employment, and school-based services for youth.
For those navigating the justice system, specialized programs are available.
Wyandot BHN accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and many private insurance plans. For individuals without insurance or with limited financial resources, we offer a sliding fee scale based on income and clinical need.
Our staff will work with you to explore each option. We never want cost to be a barrier to care and will offer services regardless of your ability to pay.
If you or someone you care about is in a mental health crisis, Wyandot BHN offers 24/7 crisis response services. You can call our 24/7 line or 988 to be put in touch with our responders.
Our Crisis Stabilization Center provides a safe, supportive environment for individuals experiencing intense emotional distress. No appointment or referral is needed—just come in or call. We’re here when you need us most, ready to help you find balance and begin recovery.
- Sobering Unit: For those experiencing a substance use crisis, we provide a safe place for up to 23-hour stays and offer recovery support and referrals to other treatment services.
- Crisis Observation Unit: Individuals experiencing a mental health crisis enter our crisis observation unit for up to 23 hours to help alleviate symptoms. We then connect them to community mental health centers for follow-up services.
- Crisis Stabilization Unit: This service is available to individuals who require more care and treatment (up to 10 days) before they move to community-based care.
- 988 Crisis Line: You can call the 988 Crisis Line for immediate, confidential support during a mental health emergency. Trained counselors provide guidance, de-escalation, and connection to local resources.
- Walk-In Crisis Services: Our walk-in crisis services offer same-day support for youth and families experiencing emotional or behavioral crises at PACES (for youth) and Wyandot Center. Staff provide assessment, stabilization, and referrals to ongoing care.
We also offer a mobile crisis response service where we can come to you.
