Account Receivable Specialist

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our central office team! Using an aged accounts receivable report, the Accounts Receivable Specialist audits and performs collections for accounts as assigned with outstanding balances for all insurance. This position reports activity on a regular basis as designated. The Accounts Receivable Specialist additionally Re-files for services when payment is inadequate and reconciles accounts that are inaccurate.

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Adult Psychiatric

Case Manager - Transitional Age Youth - (18-29)

Wyandot BHN os seeking a dedicated Case Manager to provides goal directed services to young adults with severe and persistent mental illness (ages 18-29) for the purpose of increasing functional skills, decreasing the need for hospitalization, and maximizing independent functioning in the community. Young adult case managers will support clients with attending groups and drop-in services to increase social engagement and access to age-appropriate supports in the community. Young adult case managers will collaborate with the Early Psychosis Intervention Care (EPIC) Team serving clients in their first episode of psychosis.

Community Resource Navigator

Wyandotte BHN is seeking a Community Resource Navigator (CRN) who will play a central role in the Greater Kansas City Coordinated Entry System. Working with households that are experiencing homelessness or chronic homelessness, building an early rapport and supporting them to the point where they are able to secure permanent housing. CRN will maintain a case load of potential participants, to ensure connections to support services and securing eligibility documentation. In partnership and collaboration with social service and housing providers, homeless households will decrease the time between referral and being housed. The CRN works closely with other CRNs in the Kansas City region to help shape and improve the Greater Kansas City CES.The CRN also works behind the scenes to end homelessness in the greater Kansas City region.

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated, full time Hospital Liaison/AOT Coordinator to provide liaison services to Wyandotte County adult residents hospitalized at Osawatomie State Hospital (OSH) or designative state hospital alternative beds. Participate in admission, ongoing treatment, AOT, and discharge planning.  Coordinate follow-up services to ensure a smooth transition from the hospital back to community based services. This position reports to the Manager of Crisis and Access Services.

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Manager of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) to join our Wyandot Centers team. The Manager of Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team will be responsible for the over-sight and leadership of direct services, supervision and development of case management and other related services to individuals in the community who are diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness. Works with Executive Director of Crisis Servies to design and develop programs to enhance and develop intensive community based services to individuals who have higher rates of hospital admissions, dual diagnosis, involvement in the criminal justice system and have other higher needs.

The Peer Support Specialist provides individual support to consumers within the Wyandotte County community that may be experiencing mental health care challenges. They help clients and their families receiving support to identify skills, life goals, and resources that they can use to enhance their own wellness and achieve their life goals. This position provides individual support to consumers within the Wyandotte County community that may be experiencing mental health care challenges. Psychiatrist - Adults - Full Time

Wyandot BHN is seeking a Psychiatrist to provides psychiatric assessments, medication reviews, treatment and consultation on behalf of a variety of clients. The staff psychiatrist understands the medical responsibility of Wyandot Center clients will be vested in them as a licensed physician.

Therapist - Access and Community Response - Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Access and Community Response Therapist to join our youth crisis clinic team. We pride ourselves on being a great family oriented environment that staff like to call home. The Access and Community Response Therapist provides timely initial assessments and crisis stabilization to children and adolescents. Engage individuals more deeply from their first encounter with PACES by being responsive to their immediate needs and concerns.  Collaborates and coordinates with external partners within the community and promptly provides mental health assessments, hospital screens, and mobile crisis intervention.  Assess and connect families to higher levels of care including SED Waiver services and Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities.

Therapist - Community Based Therapy Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Community Based Therapy Therapist  to join our youth therapy team at the Wyandot Academy.
