A Safe Place for Children to Heal
In partnership with Sunflower House, PACES offers comprehensive behavioral health services to support children and families navigating the aftermath of abuse.
After being referred from Sunflower House, the PACES team uses proven and compassionate, trauma-informed care to help young people process their experiences and move toward healing.
Getting Started With PACES Services
As the local children’s advocacy center, the team at Sunflower House is an expert in child abuse intervention and prevention services.
Referral Following Abuse Report
Most services begin after a report and referral from child protection or law enforcement.
Assessment & Intake
The Sunflower House team meets with the child and family to determine their needs and refers to PACES for services.
Therapeutic Services Begin
Therapy sessions and/or support groups begin with regular follow-ups and family engagement.
