Accounts Receivable Specialist - Bilingual

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our central office team! Using an aged accounts receivable report, the Accounts Receivable Specialist audits and performs collections for accounts as assigned with outstanding balances for all insurance. This position reports activity on a regular basis as designated. The Accounts Receivable Specialist additionally Re-files for services when payment is inadequate and reconciles accounts that are inaccurate.

Attendant Care Provider - Adult - PRN

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Attendant Care Provider to join our adult care services team on a PRN basis. The Attendant Care Provider provides assistance and constructive guidance to individuals in completing daily tasks and activities. This position provides training in life/social skills in an individual or group setting. This person may work at a specific organizational facility, an authorized community/program location and/or client home.

Case Manager - Homeless Outreach

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated the Case Manager will provide goal directed intensive services to adults with co-occurring severe mental illness (SMI) and substance use disorders who are experiencing chronic homelessness, for the purpose of meeting basic human needs, increasing functional skills, decreasing the need for hospitalization thorough helping to manage mental health symptoms and maximizing independent functioning and housing stability in the community. Services will be provided in the consumer’s home, in the community, and in places where people experiencing homelessness are located.

Crisis Case Manager/Outreach Specialist

Wyandot BHN is seeking a Crisis Case Manager/Outreach Specialist to provide short-term community based outreaching and engagement services to adult consumers with a mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorder and/or have been impacted by COVID-19. Once the immediate crisis is resolved and/or the person has established care with other service providers, the outreach specialist will provide a “warm hand off” to longer term service providers to ensure continuity of care.

Homeless Prevention Specialist

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Homeless Prevention Specialist to join our Kim Wilson Housing team on a temporary basis. The homeless prevention specialist will respond to the increased need for homeless prevention services in Wyandotte County, KS community due to COVID-19.

This position will be responsible for providing three primary duties: 1) Provide homeless prevention case management services; 2) process applications for emergency assistance; and, 3) conduct housing quality inspections. KWH’s homeless prevention program provides short-term support services to individuals and families residing in Wyandotte County, KS. who are at imminent risk of homelessness. 

Housing Processor & Housing Locator

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Housing Processor & Housing Locator to support the implementation and maintenance of rental housing voucher programs on a part-time basis. The voucher program may include, but is not limited to, Shelter Plus Care vouchers and Rental Assistance Program vouchers, Tenant-based Rental Assistance vouchers, Wyandot Rental Assistance Program vouchers and/or other housing assistance programs that may be added. The Housing Voucher Processor will provide support and assistance with various residential permanent housing programs provided by Kim Wilson Housing, Inc. (KWH), and community partners.

Housing Stabilization Specialist - WYRAP

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Housing Stabilization Specialist to join the Kim Wilson Housing team! The Housing Stabilization Specialist works in close collaboration with internal and external service providers in assessing client needs, developing and implementing service delivery to maximize independent functioning and housing stability in the community.  Provides housing related services including but not limited to connecting with community resources, coordinating and monitoring services with other agencies and monitoring lease compliance.

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our adult crisis stabilization team of on-call staff (PRN). The Mental Health Technician provides direct client care, interacting with clients either individually or in a group setting under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. 

Peer Support Specialist - Adult

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated part time Peer Support Specialist to join our adult team. The Peer Support Specialist must have "lived expereince" with their own mental health challenges in the past. The Peer Support Specialist provides individual support to consumers within the community that may be experiencing mental health care challenges. They help clients and their families to identify skills, life goals, and resources that they can use to enhance their own wellness and achieve their life goals. The Peer Support Specialist uses a strength-based approach to inspire hope and to develop mutuality in peer-to-peer relationships.

State Hospital Liaison

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated, full time State Hospital Liaison to provide liaison services to Wyandotte County adult residents hospitalized at Osawatomie State Hospital (OSH) or designative state hospital alternative beds. Participate in admission, ongoing treatment and discharge planning. Coordinate follow-up services to ensure a smooth transition from the state hospital back to community based services. Provide screening and evaluation of consumers hospitalized at OSH when necessary. Complete Intakes for new clients when necessary.
