Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse to join our adult med clinic team! The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) provides provision of direct psychiatric treatment, including, assessment and prescribing within an outpatient psychiatric clinic working with patients with varing levels of mental illness, developing treatment plans and prescribing medication within the scope of their education and certification of the collaborative agreement with their collaborating physician as assigned.

Mental Health Technician - Adult - Full Time

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated full-time Mental Health Technician to join our adult crisis stabilization team. The Mental Health Technician is the first point of contact for the clients and the families of the clients. This position will also assist in the coordination and care of clients seeking behavioral health services.

This is a full-time position with the following three shift options available: 

Monday - Friday, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am, Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm & Mon - Fri, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Mental Health Technician - Part-Time

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Mental Health Tech provides direct client care, interacting with clients either individually or in a group setting.

The hours for this position are:

Weekend Days, 7:00 am - 7:30 pm,  (Sat & Sun)

Weekend Overnights, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, (Sat & Sun)

 

 

Mental Health Therapist - ACT

Wyandot BHN is seeking to provide individual therapy, clinical, substance use disorder and support services to consumers and/or their support systems utilizing the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Model. The ACT therapist will serve those individuals with serious and persistent mental illness and presenting with the highest level of clinical intensity and at risk for arrest and/or higher levels of care.

Mobile Crisis Responder - Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Mobile Crisis Responder to join our ACET Youth team. The Mobile Crisis Responder is responsible for providing assessment, intake, and intervention services with children/adolescents. The position is designed to provide intensive and crisis mental health assessments, intakes, interventions, and resolutions in the community and the ACET team.

Peer Support Specialist - Adult

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated part time Peer Support Specialist to join our adult team. The Peer Support Specialist must have "lived experience" with their own mental health challenges in the past. The Peer Support Specialist provides individual support to consumers within the community that may be experiencing mental health care challenges. They help clients and their families to identify skills, life goals, and resources that they can use to enhance their own wellness and achieve their life goals. The Peer Support Specialist uses a strength-based approach to inspire hope and to develop mutuality in peer-to-peer relationships.

Peer Support Specialist - Homeless Outreach - Adult

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated part-time Peer Support Specialist to join our Homeless Outreach team. This position provides individual support to consumers within the Wyandotte County community that may be experiencing mental health care challenges. They help clients and their families receiving support to identify skills, life goals, and resources that they can use to enhance their own wellness and achieve their life goals. The Homeless Outreach Specialist w/Lived Experience shares their story to inspire hope and to develop mutuality in peer-to-peer relationships.

Project Manager - Trauma-Informed Care (Alive & Thrive)

Wyandot BHN is seeking a part-time Project Manager for the Alive & Thrive Program. The Project Manager will work under the supervision of the Alive & Thrive Wyandotte County Director to oversee and help manage community-driven projects designed to prevent trauma and promote healing and resilience in Wyandotte County.

Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing services, mental health assessments and treatment to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness in our 24/7 crisis stabilization center.

Hours: Monday - Friday, second shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm)

Therapist - Mental Health - Outpatient Services

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Therapist to provide admission evaluations to adults with the possibility of providing evaluations and interventions for youth and/or adolescent individuals. Provide initial follow up with clients and staff to ensure customer satisfaction. Complete clinical assessments to determine the necessity of higher levels of care using the Kansas screening process.

Therapist - Outpatient Youth

Therapist - Outpatient/Substance Use Disorder - Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a Therapist - Mental Health/SUD to join our youth outpatient therapy team! The Therapist provides individual therapy, assessments, and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment with primarily children/adolescents. Provide initial follow up with clients and staff to ensure customer satisfaction.

This position will mostly be based in the community but dependent on the need could be school based in the office. Therapist - Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) Waiver Team - Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our youth SED waiver team. The SED Waiver provides children, with some mental health conditions, special intensive support to help them remain in their homes and communities. The term “serious emotional disturbance” (SED) refers to a diagnosed mental health condition that substantially disrupts a child's ability to function socially, academically, and/or emotionally. The SED waiver goal is to divert psychiatric hospitalization by providing intensive Home and Community Based  Supportive Services (HCBS) to children and youth in their  homes and communities. This position provides admission evaluations and provide short-term therapeutic services.  Will assist in other PACES functions as needed. 

Triage Specialist

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Triage Specialist to join our RSI Crisis Stabiliation Services team.  The triage specialsit will act as the first point of contact for the clients and the families of the clients. This position will also assist in the coordination and care of clients seeking behavioral health services.
