Accounts Receivable Specialist - Bi-Lingual English/Spanish required

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our central office team! Using an aged accounts receivable report, the Accounts Receivable Specialist audits and performs collections for accounts as assigned with outstanding balances for all insurance. This position reports activity on a regular basis as designated. The Accounts Receivable Specialist additionally Re-files for services when payment is inadequate and reconciles accounts that are inaccurate.

This role will be dedicated to helping the Hispanic community navigate their billing questions. Bi-Lingual English/Spanish required. 

Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Psychiatric

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our youth medical staff team! The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse provides provision of direct psychiatric treatment, including, assessment and prescribing within a youth based outpatient psychiatric clinic working with patients varied levels of mental illness, developing treatment plans and prescribing medication within the scope of their education and certification of the collaborative agreement with their collaborating physician as assigned at PACES or at various suites in the community.

Attendant Care Provider - Adult - PRN

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Attendant Care Provider to join our adult care services team on an as-needed (PRN) basis. The Attendant Care Provider provides assistance and constructive guidance to individuals in completing life and social skills in an individual or group setting. They may work at a specific facility, community program and/or client's home.

This is a PRN position will work during the following hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated part-time Attendant Care Provider to join our adult care services team at Frank Williams Housing Resource Center.  The Attendant Care Provider provides assistance and constructive guidance to individuals in completing life and social skills in an individual or group setting. They may work at a specific facility, community program and/or client's home.

Part-time hours for this position are:   Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Case Manager - Homeless Outreach

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated the Case Manager will provide goal directed intensive services to adults with co-occurring severe mental illness (SMI) and substance use disorders who are experiencing chronic homelessness, for the purpose of meeting basic human needs, increasing functional skills, decreasing the need for hospitalization thorough helping to manage mental health symptoms and maximizing independent functioning and housing stability in the community. Services will be provided in the consumer’s home, in the community, and in places where people experiencing homelessness are located.

Crisis Case Manager/Outreach Specialist

Wyandot BHN is seeking a Crisis Case Manager/Outreach Specialist to provide short-term community based outreaching and engagement services to adult consumers with a mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorder and/or have been impacted by COVID-19. Once the immediate crisis is resolved and/or the person has established care with other service providers, the outreach specialist will provide a “warm hand off” to longer term service providers to ensure continuity of care.

Family Support Specialist - Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our youth case management team! The Family Support Specialist provides targeted support services and a system of care that is child-centered while also taking into consideration both the needs of the child and the family. This position will work closely with families through a non-diagnostic interview process to assess service needs.

Homeless Prevention Specialist

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Homless Prevention Specialist to respond to the increased need for homeless prevention services in Wyandotte County, Ks. community due to COVID-19. KWH’s homeless prevention program provides short-term support services to individuals and families residing in Wyandotte County, Kansas who are at imminent risk of homelessness. This position is a grant-funded and a temporary position. 

This position will be responsible for providing three primary duties: 1) provide homeless prevention case management services, 2) process applications for emergency assistance, 3) conduct housing quality inspections. The ideal candidate demonstrates good decision-making, problem solving, and highly developed interpersonal skills as well as a high level of attention to detail.

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Intake Clinician to improve access to core mental health services by providing timely, initial assessments and evaluations to adult clients who present for same day services. This will include completing clinical, safety and brief substance use disorder assessment and brief interventions to determine the level of services needed and referral to the appropriate services.

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Intake Coordinator to promote the Open Access model of intakes by coordinating intakes with clients by providing support, gathering needed documents and data and inputting data to multiple systems.

Manager of Intake and SUD - Adult - CCBHC

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Manager, Intake and SUD to perform overall supervision of the Intake Department and Substance Use Disorder services. The manager will assist team members to provide exceptional service to clients by achieving all agency standards. Responsible for overseeing the Open Access model of intakes, supervising clinicians and supporting staff completing intakes, works closely with the Manager of the Adult Outpaient Therapy services and provides coverage as needed.

Manager of Outpatient Services - Adult

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Manager of the Outpatient Therapy and Contract Therapist team. Will assist team members to provide exceptional service to clients by achieving all agency standards. Responsible for processing therapy referrals for clients, manage open access intake assignments, and provide Intake assessments and diagnosis for individuals entering Wyandot Center services.

Medical Records Specialist - Bi-Lingual

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated bi-lingual Medical Records Specialist that will be responsible for gathering, processing, and maintaining client records according to policy and HIPAA standards. They ensure client records are maintained in a manner compliant with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements of the mental healthcare system.

Mental Health Technician - Adult - Full Time

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated full-time Mental Health Technician to join our adult crisis stabilization team. The Mental Health Technician is the first point of contact for the clients and the families of the clients. This position will also assist in the coordination and care of clients seeking behavioral health services.

This is a full-time position with the following three shift options available: 

Monday - Friday, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am, Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm & Mon - Fri, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Mental Health Technician - Part-Time

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Mental Health Tech provides direct client care, interacting with clients either individually or in a group setting.

The hours for this position are:

Weekend Days, 7:00 am - 7:30 pm,  (Sat & Sun)

Weekend Overnights, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, (Sat & Sun)

 

 

Mental Health Therapist - ACT

Wyandot BHN is seeking to provide individual therapy, clinical, substance use disorder and support services to consumers and/or their support systems utilizing the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Model. The ACT therapist will serve those individuals with serious and persistent mental illness and presenting with the highest level of clinical intensity and at risk for arrest and/or higher levels of care.

Mobile Crisis Responder - Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Mobile Crisis Responder to join our ACET Youth team. The Mobile Crisis Responder is responsible for providing assessment, intake, and intervention services with children/adolescents. The position is designed to provide intensive and crisis mental health assessments, intakes, interventions, and resolutions in the community and the ACET team.

Peer Support Specialist - Adult

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated part time Peer Support Specialist to join our adult team. The Peer Support Specialist must have "lived expereince" with their own mental health challenges in the past. The Peer Support Specialist provides individual support to consumers within the community that may be experiencing mental health care challenges. They help clients and their families to identify skills, life goals, and resources that they can use to enhance their own wellness and achieve their life goals. The Peer Support Specialist uses a strength-based approach to inspire hope and to develop mutuality in peer-to-peer relationships.

The Peer Support Specialist provides individual support to consumers within the Wyandotte County community that may be experiencing mental health care challenges.
