Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Co-Responder

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Co-Responder to provide behavioral health services in partnership with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (KCKPD). The program is designed to provide crisis mental health interventions on-site, in conjunction with, Law Enforcement personnel. The CIT Co-Responder will respond with officers to calls for or from citizens who appear to have a mental health or substance use concern and will assist in de-escalation; assessing immediate needs with the goal of crisis stabilization.

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Manager of JIST Emergency & Stablization Services to join our team!  This position is responsible for the over-sight and leadership of direct services, supervision, development of broad array of emergency and stabilization services being provided on a 24 hour basis with an emphasis on justice involved services. Works with senior director to design and develop programs to enhance and develop emergency care for adults involved in the legal/judicial system.

Mobile Crisis Responder

Wyandot BHN is seeking a full time Mobile Crisis Responder to  provide assessments, intakes, interventions, hospital screens and crisis resolution in the community for both, youth and adults, in partnership with the Kansas City, Kansas community. This person will work closely with the Wyandotte County Jail, local hospitals, law enforcement, HRADAC, and our 24/7 crisis center (RSI).

Nurse - RN or LPN

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse or  Licensed Practical Nurse to join our adult crisis stabilization team! The Nurse will provide direct nursing services, mental health assessments and treatment to consumers with severe and persistent mental illness in our 24/7 crisis stabilization center.

Peer Support Specialist - Adult

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Peer Support Specialist to join our adult team. The Peer Support Specialist provides individual support to consumers within the Wyandotte County community that may be experiencing mental health care challenges. They help clients and their families receiving support to identify skills, life goals, and resources that they can use to enhance their own wellness and achieve their life goals. The Peer Support Specialist uses a strength-based approach to inspire hope and to develop mutuality in peer-to-peer relationships.

Supervisor - Supported Employment

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Supported Employment Supervisor to supervise case management staff providing employment services and SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR) services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. This position is also responsible for maintaining high fidelity Evidence Based Practice in Supported Employment.

Therapist - Crisis Access and Intake - Youth

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Crisis Access & Intake Therapist to join our youth therapy team! The Crisis Access and Intake Therapist provides crisis intervention and support to youth and families experiencing an acute crisis.  This position additionally completes admission evaluations with youth/adolescent clients and their guardian. 

Therapist - Early Intervention Team - Adult

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated Therapist to join our Early Intervention Team for First Episode Psychosis. The Therapist serves as lead individual clinician within a coordinated specialty team for youth and young adults (15-36) experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Utilizing Individual Resiliency Training (IRT), the Therapist will assist individuals by increasing coping and resiliency skills, decreasing the impact of illness on recovery goals, and maximizing independent and interpersonal functioning in the community.

Therapist - Early Intervention Team Leader

Wyandot BHN is seeking a full time Therapist for the Early Intervention Team (EIT) serving individuals (15-36) experiencing First Episode Psychosis. The Team Leader provides psychoeducation and support to family systems for the purpose of improving comprehension, resiliency, and coping skills. Engages the community in education about psychosis to build connections and foster referrals.
